Liselle Wong

Liselle is a certified personal trainer with a background in rehabilitation. Liselle graduated from the Occupational/ Physiotherapy Assistant program at Vancouver Community College and has been working in the public sector since. While at school, Liselle also coached the Academy program from Volleyball Canada. Liselle has experience in youth strength & conditioning, injury prevention, concussion management and has worked in acute medicine, trauma, orthopaedic, and outpatient clinics.

Liselle’s passion for a healthy lifestyle stems from her life turning upside down in 2020. Upon graduating high school, Liselle started training and competing competitively in powerlifting. Unfortunately, during that time, Liselle developed immunity issues and became bed-bound in the summer of 2020. From being active to virtually immobile in a matter of months, Liselle was determined to get her life back. With discipline, patience, and time, Liselle was not only able to get back on the platform to compete, but she also broke provincial and national records in her weight class!

In the gym, you will most likely find Liselle Olympic weightlifting or trying new mobility challenges. If she’s not in the gym, Liselle enjoys trying new recipes, going on walks by the water, or cafe hopping with her siblings. Liselle welcomes you to the LIFT experience!
